Getting started

Certification & License Expiry Tracker — installation & user guide

1 Install the app

Click the install button on the marketplace listing (or your installation link), choose the monday account you want to add it to, and approve the requested permissions. The app installs in seconds — there's nothing to download.

2 Add it to a board

Open any monday board that lists your people and their credentials, with one row per credential. Add the Certification Tracker board view to that board. The app automatically detects your columns by their titles — no configuration needed.

Column auto-detection recognizes any of these naming styles:

No expiry column? If you have an issue date and a frequency, the app computes the expiry date for you. If something isn't detected, rename the column (for example to Expiry Date) and reload the view.

3 Read your compliance status

4 Turn on automatic reminders

Click Enable auto-reminders in the app header and approve access. The app then checks your board every day and sends a monday notification at 60, 30, and 7 days before each expiration — one notification per stage, delivered to the user who enabled reminders.

5 Log a training session

When a group completes training, open the Log a Session tab, choose the credential and the date completed, select the attendees, and click Apply to board. Every attendee's next expiry date is recomputed and written straight back to your board — no per-person data entry.

6 People & plans

Your board is the source of truth: add a row to add a person or credential, edit a date on the row, or delete the row to remove it — the app updates instantly. Plan limits count distinct people tracked (not rows or monday seats). The free plan covers up to 10 people; paid plans raise the limit.
